Aimhigher Humber Evaluation Program
Aimhigher was initiated by the department of Department of Education and Skills, their key aim is to broaden the participation in higher education particularly among students from non-traditional backgrounds, minority groups and disabled persons. |

Many educational institutions run activities to encourage and assist pupils in attainment and aspiration. It is crucial that the effectiveness of these activities is accurately reported to the Aimhigher management team.
First Software Solutions produced an online data collection and evaluation tool that allowed institutions to record the activities they offered and the impact they had on performance. A major criteria was the system was easy to use and provided comprehensive management reports at various levels. The system successfully achieved all its original requirements for it’s first year’s data collection period, and is set to become the default data collection and evaluation tool for the Humber region.
