3 x SOFTWARE DEVELOPER Roles - .NET C#
Due to a major expansion we are looking for 3 additional software developers. They will ideally be based at the company’s Louth or Darlington office, but homeworking would also be possible with regular virtual meetings supplemented by face-to-face meetings at a regional office.

Main Duties
The successful Software Developer will be required to work as part of a team to work on existing ongoing projects and be able to take on the responsibility of developing new robust systems from specifications provided.  Specific duties include:
+ Developing new systems and maintaining existing systems to the highest standards.
+ Managing projects, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met.

Key Skills and Experience
The successful Software Developer will be flexible and experienced in developing all types of applications. Our core products are web-based applications; however, there may be a need to develop desktop applications. The developer will have the following skills and experience:
+ Proven history in developing complex systems using the entire Microsoft .Net platform
+ Ability to document and scope business requirements, functional and technical specifications
+ Excellent knowledge of Visual Studio 2010
+ Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
+ A team player and experienced at working in multi-discipline teams
+ Ability to plan, manage your own workload and meet deadlines
+ Flexible and positive approach to work
+ Object Oriented programming, C# and n-tier architecture, .NET, ASP, SQL, MSSQL 2008, MVC
+ Knowledge of Silverlight development would also be preferred but not essential
+ For those wishing to work from home, demonstrable experience of similar roles


Salary
Up to £30k



IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Due to a major expansion the company is looking for two Support Technicians to be responsible for the deployment of hardware and software to new and existing customers. The roles offer a salary of up to £14k (depending on experience) together with a funded training and development plan and will be based at our Louth office.

Main Duties
The successful Support Technicians will be required to work together to provide the means of deploying software and hardware to the Company’s customers around the UK. Specific duties include:
+ Loading software, copying files and restoring databases.
+ Updating websites and databases with the latest versions.
+ Cloning PCs from a master image.
+ Installing and configuring computer and associated equipment hardware.
+ Preparing documentation, packaging and arranging shipments to end users.
+ Stock control of components and return of items under warranty.

Key Skills and Experience
The successful Support Technicians will be experienced in in a wide range of IT software and hardware. The Support Technicians will have the following abilities, skills and experience:
+ IT literate with experience of Microsoft Windows operating systems (XP and above).
+ Ability to follow instructions and complete documentation accurately.
+ Ability to work unsupervised and in small teams.
+ Ability to prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines.
+ Conscientious and accurate data entry skills.
+ Experience in practical configuration of hardware and associated IT equipment using basic tools.
+ Self-confident & self-motivated.


Salary
Up to £14k

TRAINING MANAGER
Due to a major expansion the company is looking for a Training Manager to manage a small team providing on-line training for clients who have installed the company’s software solutions. The role offers a salary of up to £22k (depending on experience) together with a funded training and development plan and will be based at our Louth office.

Main Duties
The successful Training Manager will be required to manage a team in providing online training and support on all our bespoke software packages, manage the internal training of company staff, and also conduct some training themselves. Specific duties include:
+ To manage a training schedule based on bespoke software deployment.
+ To ensure the development and delivery of training using online tools and the telephone
+ To manage the maintenance of client records and produce reports from them.
+ To communicate well and liaise with customers at all levels and with varied skills
+ To analyse basic IT and software problems and resolve them in a confident manner
+ To understand customer processes and apply them to the training
+ To manage and maintain a knowledge base of solutions to common problems
+ Liaison with other department managers in the development and delivery of on-line training resources.

Key Skills and Experience
The successful Training Manager will be experienced in MS Office applications and be competent in a wide range of IT. You will have the following abilities, skills and experience:
+ Experience of management in a training environment
+ Experience in developing effective teams
+ Experience in a customer-facing role in an IT environment
+ Ability to identify opportunities for improvement
+ Ability to prioritise workloads and deliver outcomes in an efficient and organised manner
+ Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines
+ Excellent relationship & personal communication skills
+ Resilience, self-confidence & self-motivation
