Based in Louth, close to the vibrant city of Lincoln and within easy commuting distance of Grimsby, the Humber Bank and the East Coast, this company is a highly creative and forward thinking organisation specialising in the development of new software management products mainly within the health and educational sectors which has gone from strength to strength, expanding its client base and developing new ideas.

Due to a rapidly expanding portfolio of work an additional Senior Software Developer is needed to join the existing team.

MAIN DUTIES – SENIOR DEVELOPER .NET
The successful Software Developer will be required to work as part of the team to work on existing ongoing projects and be able to take on the responsibility of developing new robust systems from specifications provided. Specific duties include:

• Developing new systems and maintaining existing systems to the highest standards.
• Managing projects, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met.
• Working directly with clients, understanding their requirements and transferring this into the final product.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE – SENIOR DEVELOPER .NET
The successful Software Developer will be flexible and experienced in developing all types of applications. Our core products are web-based applications; however, there may be a need to develop desktop applications. The developer will have the following skills and experience:

• Significant and demonstrable track record of working in a similar role.
• Technical experience of using Visual Studio 2008 along with ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server 2008, AJAX technologies, and reporting solutions such as Crystal Reports.
• Experience in designing and building websites using HTML, XTHML and CSS.
• Knowledge of classic asp or another scripting language would be an advantage.
• Desire to learn new skills and an openness to develop their creative ability.
• Excellent relationship & communication skills.
• Resilience and the ability to handle constructive criticism.
• Ability to work confidently and openly with clients.
• Self confidence & self motivation.
• Strong teamwork capability.
